RemindMate (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a personal reminder management application designed to help users track bills, renewals, and important dates. This Privacy Policy explains how RemindMate handles data on your device.

RemindMate does not collect or store any personal information on our servers. All data is stored locally on your device only.

The App stores the following information:

1.1 Reminder Data (Local Only)

  • Reminder titles and descriptions
  • Renewal or expiry dates
  • Categories you create or modify
  • Notification settings related to reminders

1.2 Backup Files (Local Only)

You may export your reminders as a backup file. These backup files are stored only on your device or wherever you choose to save them.

We do not access, upload, or transmit your backup files.

2. No Personal Information Collected

RemindMate does not collect:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Address
  • Location
  • Contacts
  • Photos
  • Payment information

We do not require user accounts or logins.

3. Permissions We Use

RemindMate uses only the permissions necessary to function:

3.1 Notifications

Used to send reminders before due dates or expiry dates.

3.2 Storage Access (Optional)

Used only when:

  • Exporting backup files
  • Importing backup files

The App never accesses photos, videos, or files unrelated to its backup feature.

4. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • We do not transmit your data over the internet
  • We do not store your data on any server
  • You have full control of your information

If you uninstall the App, all stored data is permanently deleted from your device unless you have created a backup file manually.

5. Third-Party Services

RemindMate does not use:

  • Firebase Analytics
  • Crashlytics
  • Advertising SDKs
  • Third-party data processors

The App is fully offline except when you choose to export or import backup files.

6. Children’s Privacy

RemindMate does not collect personal data from children or adults. The App is safe for users of all ages, but it is intended for general use only.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected here with an updated “Last Updated” date.
